About The Club
A Southend club. Founded by old boys of the High School in 1900.
Old Southendian Football Club was started in 1900 by old boys of the Southend High School for Boys. Over a century later, we've grown into one of the area's most established amateur clubs.
We play our home games at Garon Park, putting out six senior sides every weekend during the season across the EOFL on Saturdays and the SBC Vets League on Sundays.
The motto on the shield, Forti Nihil Difficile — for the determined nothing is difficult — has stayed there since day one. It still shapes how we play, how we recruit, and how we look after each other.
